SIDS

SIDS is Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. I picked this topic because it is very dear to me because I lost a family member to this. It is was very hurtful to see my cousin go thru this situation. They went thru a constant battle of blaming each, and themselves. SIDS can happen to any child of any race. Also during this time you will get questioned by the authorities which is very difficult to deal with during a time of loss. It hurt me so much to see my cousin cry about a child that she dreamed about most of her life.

I looked at many different  resources it said that sids happens all over the world. The WHO- world health organization stores the information. It also notes that SIDS can be controlled by the way your infant is laid to rest.
